Media Literacy: "Fake News" in the classroom
Have you fallen for "clickbait?" Can you spot bias in a news article or do you catch yourself relying on the same news source day after day? A recent Stanford study found that middle and high school students ("digital natives") are not equipped to discern between quality news sources and advertisements or propaganda. Students at NFV are working on recognizing the red flags that should cause skepticism when considering a source of information.
